Yes, that is my daughter and my mother...a 3 generation picture! I'm enjoying my work in the library as well. In fact I will be graduating with my masters in just a few months!!!

Thanks for sharing, Sally! Although I had seen the video before, I really enjoyed it!

As for LibGuides, well, no, I haven't used them because I'm not working in a library. Perhaps someday I'll be where there is a need, and will be able to examine them more thoroughly.

Take care. Mona.

Hi, Sally! Yes, I enjoyed meeting you, too.

Max and Steve thought the keys were cool, as did I. However, I feel so many of us deserved the keys to the shop for awhile. I know the "Original L & D Team" is ready for a break, and I certainly hope to continue to participate. The summer tasks were both beneficial and enjoyable.

I'd like to drop by sometime when I'm in the city. You take care of yourself, and...look both ways.

My tank is half-full, but I'm going to watch for gas on my drive home today. I really enjoyed talking with you at Tenn-Share.

Hi Sally,
I haven't been riding to work very much at all. Once the 90 degree temps subside, I'll start again. I really did like it.

Thanks and thanks on my postings, Sally. I intend to check out MERLOT, but haven't gotten around to it just yet. It seems you had an exciting library adventure!

Have a great weekend, and...look both ways!

I was wondering because that bike path down, is it Woodmont? looked like a hilly bear to me. I wouldn't be worth a nickel once I got to work. ;-) Of course, yours is probably just as rolling.

Sally, I meant to ask, from which direction do you bike to the school?

I heard that about Minneapolis. I also heard they sustain a large population of people who commute year round.... in sunny Minnesota!

Now I've seen everything. Dusty is way too big for me to pull! I should train him to pull me!!

You're always welcome, Sally!

The picture was on campus at UTM while he was there for governor's school. He starts school on the 11th, too. It's been a fast-paced summer for him, but I think he's about ready to get back into the swing. Take care.

I'm so glad it worked, and, yes, Adobe is just for on-screen reading. I'm not sure about that error message. Best to check with Sansa on that front. I know some programs have a sync option, but that's all I know.

No, that is Max playing his old guitar. That was taken while he was at gsh. I find it very tranquil. He's been in Knoxville all week, so we've hardly heard the new guitar. Can't wait to retrieve him tomorrow. I miss my life's soundtrack. ;-)

Take care, and have a great weekend, Sally.

Okay, Sally, if you go to the main screen and search that title, you will get a return on two different downloads, one Adobe and one OverDrive. Just download the OverDrive one to put on your mp3. I think that should solve your problem, if not, let me know. Later!

Hey, Sally? Are you sure your selection was available in OverDrive audio book format, or was it maybe only available in pdf? Just a thought. Also, What was the title? It might be better for me to experiment with the same title to gauge my results.

Well, I don't know, Sally. I'll go in and find another book to download and see if I can figure anything out. Sometimes you do these things so brainlessly that you don't recall exactly what you did. Give me a few minutes and I'll se what I can figure out.

We had a very good time in Nashville. Had we not been headed to the guitar store, I would have stopped to meet you. We drove right by and discussed it, but were afraid we would cut ourselves short.

Max actually got a new guitar. He's been saving for an upgrade for a good time now. They didn't have the model he thought he wanted, but when he struck the first note on this one, we saw it in his eyes. It was "love at first sound."

I'm so glad the trip to France was successful. Tell him I envy him. Our dream is to go back one day and spend several weeks based in Paris, but traversing the countryside.

Let me fiddle with the OverDrive and get back to you.

Weird - I was just looking at that page! I want to add the widget to Facebook, but it won't work. Maybe after some coffee I'll figure out how to fix it.

Good afternoon Sally, I work at Motlow State in the Tullahoma/Lynchburg area. I think the NetLibrary eAudio collection is great but the useage is slow to catch-on with the students. We are optimistic it will improve. It took my old laptop about 8 minutes to download my selection. Take care and have a great day!
