Google Book Search is absolutely amazing! I am sure my teachers will be interested in using this valuable resource. I hope to take a look at Library Thing and World Cat when I have more time to do so.
I downloaded a bluegrass version of Ragtime Annie. It was surprisingly easy. I downloaded it in a WAV format, and it opened with Windows Media Player. I was unaware of all of the possibilities of streaming and downloading music!
I was able to download an audio book for our Learn and Discover assignment, but I was unable to listen to it because I did not have the correct software. I do count listening to a book as reading because I even listened to a couple of audio books ...
After briefly looking through many pages, I liked the information provided on Polly's Ning page.
