I have been an educator since 1978 and a librarian since 2000. I work in a K-4 library in a public setting. Our school is a relatively one, but I have many opportunities to try new things and serve my students. I love trying new ideas and learning n…
Hello Everyone!
I am going to try this adventure and see where it takes me. I became involved with Facebook when some friends from my high school band set a page up and contacted me. That has been so much fun sharing memories and reconnecting with t…
Hello! Summer is going by fast but it's been a good one. I took comps last Saturday and will take the praxis this Saturday. So it's good to be so close to finished! Hope you are enjoying your summer.
Hi, Susan! so glad you found me on here. It was so cool for us to connect last year at TASL. There are a bunch of us Donelson gals who are school librarians. I just found out that the librarian at Stanford is from Donelson, DHS, '67. Hope I'll see you at TASL again this September. The new conference site in Murfreesboro is gorgeous. Tell Al hi for me! And tell him he sure is missing a lot of news and goings-on by not having email.
Hey Diane .... Do you know Freddy Capps? He and my husband are buddies.
When you come over to Lynnville ... stop by the antique shop. My husband is one of the guys that runs it.
Hi Susan,
I work at Cornersville High School. I am currently working on my MLIS at Trevecca. Which school are you at in Nashville? Are you just starting Learn & Discover?
Yes, I live in the "speed trap." I always defend it though because we live on the main road, and it is crazy how fast people drive by my house. Also, just last week, an 11 yr. old was hit on his bicycle! We love to eat at the yummy Soda Pop Junction.
I think the teacher you mentioned might be Diane Owens; her husband, Roger, is a contractor. (?)
Hi Susan,
No, I'm sorry, but I'm not the same Melissa from David Lipscomb. I went to Berea College and I was 6 in 1978. I hope you find your friend!

Well, Sabrina McClure got me on here. However, I must admit that I haven't had the time to really check it out..... Ning looks like a great collaborative tool....
