I was in a meeting yesterday of two local library organizations, and we are working on doing some programs for the membership, either lunch or late afternoon. I know that we have the TEL trainers, but I was wondering if you ever do presentations for groups telling about TEL?

Sue: I just checked with Gale about the stats being O and she said all the Gale databases need to have a loc ID of tel_a_crichton. Is that something you all do or do I need my IT people to do it?

I tried to get InfoTrac Config stats today for March, and it was all zeros, not one search! I don't think that is possible. Do we not access the stats the same way?

Do we still use InfoTrac.config to get statistics? It is taking so long this morning that it is timing out on me. Also, how do we get statistics for the other three databases in TEL?

I went into InfoTrac.config. and it is asking for username and password which I have long forgotten. I thought I had it saved on the link. Can you help? I need to get statistics for TEL. So I do it different now that there are more databases than just Gale?

Sue, I feel like an angel flew in to answer my question about directly accessing Newsbanks TN newspaper collection! Thanks so much. I work at Welch Library, Free Will Baptist Bible College. I have some distant memory of setting up some passwords, but they have flown from my consciousness now. I've got to do better about writing stuff down in places where I can find it later! Did you send the passwords for the TEL databases? I am meeting our web person on Monday and was wondering how most people are doing the databases on their websites....are they just linking to the portal or putting each database in separately?
