Hi, I am a popular materials librarian at the Nashville Public Library. Also an avid vegetable gardener and bird watcher. I came to this profession after years of community organizing, which is much harder. My "Radical Militant Librarian" picture was sort of a joke when I picked it, but it turns out it is designed by ALA in response to the Patriot Act, in case anyone is wondering. So it is NO joke!
I live in Murfreesboro and commute and keep my sanity with audiobooks. My recent favorites are The Yokota Officer's Club by Sarah Bird, and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.
My pictures are from a trip to Belize in 2007. I want to go back. The tapir is the national animal of Belize, and there is one at the top of my page peeking out.

Find your theme link. It's in there under your button pic. From there, you should be able to remove the theme.
Or, the other thing you can do is go to the Photos link at the top, then to My Photos, then open the image you used for your background and delete it.
Try that, but I'll keep watching to see how it goes...
What is that? Am I being dense? I can't tell what those great eyes belong to...
Welcome aboard - you are member number 299 - just missed 300! Remember the Whipporwil you identified in the courtyard last year? - We should have gotten a good pic.
