I had "war" with meez. One time I had this hideous make-up on and couldn't get it off. Then it kept deleting my clothes! (Thankfully I was supplied with black pants and a tube top when what I wanted wasn't available.) Patience and a willingness to...

How do I deactivate my Ning account?
If you ever decide you don't want to use any of the social networks on Ning anymore, we can disable your account for you. For security reasons, we are not able to delete any of the content that you h...
Meez does take a lot of time to load, but just take a deep breath and you will get to play soon.
There are a ton of other avatar sites too, like South Park, M&M, the Simpsons, & DoppelMe.
I too have a specialized folder in my e-mail, but I realize once I'm on the site, I tend to just keep following threads until I hit the end again. :)
Talk about blogging, if you want to. Start a forum like Jenny did. That's what Learn & Discover ...
Since Wendy mentions Jenny's Good Ninging discussion as a place to seek answers, I thought it might be good to bring it back to the forefront. It's chock-full of valuable tips and tricks, but there's always someone nearby if you can't find the ans...
Today I rode in the rain. It wasn't too much fun, but it was better than being stuck in traffic! I did discover my raincoat needs to be re-waterproofed...
I'm looking forward to meeting you at TennShare.
Jenny,
How's the bike commuting coming? Are you enjoying it? I love it. It's a great way to start and end the day. I've learned so much from this "Learn & Discover" experience. I want to continue to "learn and discover" new ways that Web 2.0 can help me help the students in my library. Thanks for all you did in this learning project.
Thank you for the music link. I plan to pursue the music venues indefinitely. The music people take themselves so seriously.
Thank you again for all the information.
Jenny, do you think we could put a note on the Main Page about the proposed meet-up? It was DeAnne's suggestion. If nothing else, we can just decide amongst ourselves and send out a fabulous invitation. Are e-vites too passe these days for the Web 2.0 crowd? ; )
DeAnne Luck just sent me the following comment. What do you think?
"Christi, I'm sure we can work out some kind of get together. The options, as I see it, would be: 1) Thursday lunch during the DataFest, which is on your own at a restaurant. There might not be enough time for a big group to eat, and I couldn't come, being in charge and all. :-(
2) Thursday dinner (perhaps after the Gala reception?) Or just all hang out together at the reception?
3) Meet in a room for Friday lunch (box lunch during the conference). I could arrange a room for us and we could all compare our mp3 players we got in the morning. ;-) "
Mona & I were wondering if there will be an opportunity for a informal Ning get-together at the Data Conference. Even if it's just dinner in downtown, it would be nice to have a chance to meet all of our on-line Friends f2f. Just curious.
Jenny,
Yes to both your questions. I really appreciate it that you want to help me with this. Also, assignment regarding digital books throws me off. Thanks, Anneke.
