Just a couple of pics. If you ever have a patron who has a child in one, I can relate and they can find pictures and details on how my son wound up in one at our web site, http://blog.d0gz.net, by clicking on "what happened..." at the top.

He was in the spica cast for 6 weeks for a broken femur and then it was another 6 weeks before he walked again. This started Feb 22, 2008 and I was on FMLA until the first full week of June 2008. He is doing fine now and gaining confidence.… Continue

Picture Slideshow

I'm trying this using the 'Lil Green Patch' application available on Facebook. These are my children. There was a slight slope to the driveway so it was fun to see my 2 yr old enjoying gravity and kissing the bumper of Grandma's car after rolling there. He never hit it, didn't get up that much speed. It was just funny when he didn't stop and let himself roll to it. And no, I don't know what was so special about the pink egg.

I supervise the public services staff, temp in departments, do scheduling so that hopefully I don't have to temp, handle patron issues, and all sorts of fun and not so fun managerial stuff. The library is 2 floors so I get my exercise (I hope!) running between floors. It's a lovely building close to historic downtown Franklin and civil war historical sites.

This looks to be a fun exercising of web skills that I do have minimally or not at all!! I'm looking forward to it and nagging my co-workers to participate. Maybe if I give them cookies...
