Using pbworks, I have created a page for the Thigpen Library. It is a beginning. We have talked about postings reference guides and other resources on a wiki. We'll see how it develops. The location is http://thigpenlibrary.pbworks.com.
Google Maps showed me one route I take is 4 miles longer but actually 3 minutes shorter in driving time; it's not my imagaination!
I am so impressed with all of these great organizational apps, but wait --- Life hacker.com is interesting, and I don't have to create a new account or password. I enjoyed reading :-)
Using the Power Search widget, I discovered Dolly Parton and Elvis Presley appeared in a digitized technology feature for TN tourism.

It didn't work for me.
Google Lab Similar Images is a helpful tool. Eiffel Tower photos offered different angles. Exploring photos of London, I revisted St. Paul's Cathedral, the Underground and photos of the red, double-decker London bus.

- Each of the Ning pages has an RSS button at the bottom. You should be able to click that button and transfer it to your Google Reader; however, you can also grab the address for a page by highlighting, right clicking, and copying it. Then, you can add that URL into your Google Reader.
I hope that makes sense to you. If not, we'll wiggle it around until it does. Just let me know.
