I did not convert any, but I did meet some other "biking librarians". Oh, and I met Mona. She was awarded the "keys" to Ning. Ning is going to continue to be a place to keep learning and sharing ideas. 96 people completed all 8 activities.
Hi Deb,
DataFest was great! I learned a lot. You and I both qualified for MP3 players. James let me pick-up yours , too. They're pretty neat. I'll bring yours in Monday. Have a great weekend!

Hi Deborah. Launch iTunes and go to the iTunes Store, then go to Podcasts--or just start searching for stuff you are interested in. When you find a podcast you think looks interesting, go to its information page. There should be info about the podcast, reviews, and a list of all the shows that are available. There should be a little Subscribe button up by the title of the show, maybe next to the icon or picture, if they have one. If you click Subscribe, iTunes will download the latest show and put the podcast in the Podcasts folder of your Library. So click on the Podcasts folder and make sure it's there. The name of the podcast you added should show up, with a little triangle next to it. Click the triangle, and you should get a list of all the shows that are available, and the one(s) that have already been downloaded. Click Get to download older shows that look interesting. The blue dots next to the titles mean that you haven't listened to that show yet. Next time you plug in your iPod, if you have automatic syncing, everything new will be pulled in. If you do manual syncing, you'll have to go to the Podcasts folder on your iPod and add the new 'cast to your sync list. Hope that helps!! Have fun!
