Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton are united through the magic of digital technology to promote tourism in their home state of Tennessee. So they appear together (although digitally) in a Tennessee tv advertisment. I've seen it...it is cute.

Hi!
I work for the Reelfoot Regional Library in Martin, Tennessee. I have been here five years. I am a MARC cataloger (love it), tech back-up (needs work), and general laborer (love it).
I love to take photos, garden, play with my puppy, jet ski, and I hang out at itunes, myspace (http://www.myspace.com/reellibrarian) and flickr - Reel Librarian.

I relish the opportunity to participate in this- I always learn cool stuff!

LibraryThing

I love LibraryThing. I have a lifetime membership and have cataloged 415 books so far. I am still working on getting all of my collection on it. They also have giveaways to review and you can offer up swaps and giveaways. I am reading a book right now that I got as a giveaway.

Debbie, you asked about a place on My Page to navigate or link to multiple Ning networks you belong to - I've wondered about this myself and not found an answer clicking around. I sent the question to the Ning help folks just now, and I'll let you know their answer.

Hi Debby,
You know, I've lived in Nashville for 8 years and have never been to the Southern Festival of Books! I've been working weekends for many years and this is the first year I'll be free to go. Maybe I'll see you there! :)

Regarding Ike - did you hear about the 2 guys who died when a tree fell on their golf cart?- somewhere in the area. We had alot of wind and a little rain, now I guess we are getting the cooler weather (not sure that's from Ike though).
