I've been working in the library world for about 6 years, poking around usually with at least 2 part time jobs at one time. I feel like I've almost done the tour of Mid-Metro libraries- the Highland Rim Regional, La Vergne, Brentwood, the Center for Popular Music, UTK's Social Work branch, and now back at the
Center. I even did a practicum at the Tennessee State Library and Archives last summer
Life is good at the Center, especially since I graduated with my Master's back in December. Still, a professional position will be nice one day. Maybe I'll find something with my interests of Technical Services (specifically Cataloging) in Special Collections/Archives when the economy bounces back.
While I'm scanning the job listservs, I also serve as the 2009 President-Elect of the Special Libraries Association,
Southern Appalachian Chapter . Plus, Jerianne Thompson and I are the founding members of Tennessee Library Association's Radical Militant Guild, as seen by our debut at their conference a couple of weeks ago. If you are interested in either, let me know.
In the meantime, watch

You are very informative and up to date. You're working on living in the here and now, not the past. You go through a lot of changes. When you make a decision you can be very sure of yourself, maybe even stubborn, but your friends appreciate your honesty and resolve.

I find it interesting that I also had the choice of 207 Missions and religious education and 003 Systems . All three seem to fit me pretty well.
