Elvis and Dolly were in a television commercial promoting Tennessee tourism . It was digitally altered production.
I found that answer fairly quickly. I did read the other responses that had been given, but I did eventually find the answer to the t…
Thanks to all of you for all your help. The tasks are all important for us to learn because our patrons, especially the younger ones, are using these skills. We need to be on top of them, too, to be able to help them when they need it.
I've gotten…
I experimented with Google News Timeline. It was very interesting because it gives a timeline of news articles in a brief format, allowing for more of the article if you chose to view it. With all that is going on in the world today, a person wants…
O.K. I've signed up and I'm a follower of LearnDiscover. I'll have to play with it a while to get the hang of it. I'm still trying to get the hang of Facebook. I have a little over a week to play before I start back to work full time. I'm still need…
I joined Facebook about a month ago, and I'm still trying to figure some things out. I, too, almost feel like I'm urking at times, but I think it is a good way to keep up with people you don't have time to email, call, or visit all the time.

Hi, I'm CJ. I work part-time at Vol State library, and I am librarian at a middle school.
I hear students using the "new language" all the time,so I need to know what they are saying. Also, technology is moving so fast that you have to stay current…
Update on Fran, Thurs. July 31st: She is somewhat alert and can wiggle her toes, but she still has a long way to go yet. The doctors have determined that Fran has sepsis, or to be more precise C diff -- I'm unfamiliar with this, but I hear it's somekind of infection possibly of the blood or kidneys, maybe? That's all for now. Take care and I'll talk to you soon.
Cindy, I just got an update on Fran. She's in ICU at Hendersonville Hospital. The doctors are not sure what happened yet (besides the dehydration), but they're not ruling out a stroke. Lynda said her test results look better today, so hopefully that's good news. I'll let you know if I hear anything else. I hope your trip is going well. :)
BTW, Millie, Marlene, and Glynda are among my favorite people on the planet!
What sort of church conference in Memphis? Mark and Elinor Brown, Missy and Byron Forester, Jay and Mary Earhart-Brown, Chuck and Stephanie Brown...all dear friends.
And Mr. Gordon McFadden is the one I know. I'm assuming Billy Ray is his son.
Yes, Cindy, I know both McFaddens (at Henry) and Cantrells (Marsha and Bobby) and know practically everyone in the CP church. We are at First Presbyterian (U.S.A.).
I worked full-time (library) and attended Bethel in the early 80s and taught there in the late 80s and 90s. My husband graduated from Bethel. Our dearest lifelong friends are CP. Most are in the Memphis area now and work within the denomination in some capacity.
