Well this looks like the place we all say "I have a Jack Russel too!" LOL! I rescured my dog, Scout, from the local military base. He's been with me for five years now and is ~ 8 years old and *finally* behaving more like a normal dog. Except he can still jump onto counters and clear normal fences. Yep. I got a jumper! Wish George and Scout could play and burn some energy together!

I have a Jack Russell dog named Sandi. She is lots of fun, and loves to play "Fling Thing". She also likes to ride in the bike trailer when we go bike riding (When she gets tired of running). My son used to love the Wishbone series of books. When he was in 3rd grade they came out with a series that was about Wishbone's puppy years. It was great, but they only published 4 books. They were based on classic fairy tales. What libray are you in? I love being a librarian do you?

What a cute "George" I have been wanting a Jack Russell for a long time, but my husband says he thinks they might be a little too hyper for me. I think they are just the cutest little things!
He looks like the "Cracker Jack" dog. (only cuter, of course)
George looks cute now but his favorite game is to chase Jill, the dobie we have and standing on the very tip of his back toes, jumps up and grabs Jill under her neck. Jill tilts her head, looks at him for a minute, then slowwwly lifts her head. It doesn't take long for George to jump off! Sometimes she slowwly shakes her head and George's back legs swing back and forth trying to touch ground!
Jack Russell terriers seem to be the most cheerful dogs - perhaps it is their jaunty stride. Used to see one in my neighborhood every morning striding along checking on everyone. Glad to see you have joined us, Betty Jo.
