There are lots of things we didn't get the chance to explore, and there are new things on the horizon. What else would you like to discuss? Any interest in a Round 3 next year? Share your thoughts here!
Both Round 1 & 2 were great opportunities for learning what's out there and relate it to the library world. As much as I want to go back to school, the finances just aren't there. Working my way through these exercises was a golden opportunity! I would definitely be up for Round 3.
Thanks to everyone who made Learn and Discover possible. Both rounds were very enjoyable as well as providing opportunities for learning more about Web 2.0 applications. I hope you will tackle Round 3 next year!
Thank you to all the fine subject specialists of Round 2. Your communication skills make the web worthwhile.
Next year I hope to further engage in this shared enterprise.
I would love to participate in another round of activities. There's always something new and useful to learn. Thanks for all the hard work from everyone who made this possible!
I am shocked that we are already done. This one felt way shorter than the first round for some reason.
Oh, well........a huge thank you for the forcing of Twitter - I am really enjoying that a whole lot more than I thought I would. I would also like to say thanks to all of the presenters who set us this tasks and pulled us closer to a true Web 2.0 experience. Some of it I don't really like, but at least I now know enough to point people in the right direction.
Since Web 2.0 continues to evolve, we are going to need the help so I really hope this program continues for more rounds - it's a nice change from cataloging;-)

And I've crossed the finish line already? As Tressy, I also am shocked that Round 2 has ended. But when I looked back at all the islands we landed on--the new languages, Twitter, book marking, labs, digging, organizing, location maps and wikis---well, I think we covered alot of territory on this Learn and Discover mission. And I have enjoyed it and learned so much. At least I have a good idea what others are speaking of when they talk about these "islands." Most importantly, I didn't drown!
Thanks so very much to all the Exploration Captains and Crew on this Learn and Discover Round 2. You all make learning fun!
I just know there will be several newly discovered "islands" for us to visit next year, and I will be ready to put my canoe in the water for Round 3.
Wow, you guys are rarin' to go for next year. LOL Maybe they will put together a rodeo for you great cowboys out there.
Thanks for being such great sports. Wendy, Robbi, Debi, and I (plus all of our specialists & other volunteers)really couldn't have done this without you!
Thanks to all the specialists who shared their expertise and valuable time. Also, thank you to all the other participants for their input! I'm feeling a bit sad for the "game" to be over. I enjoyed the activities, learned so much, and am using many of the programs/services. I have also shared my new knowledge with my students and co-workers. I am especially attached to delicious.com. I have a link to my delicious so that my students may find the bookmarks I have saved. I hope to "see" you all in Round 3!
