TENN-SHARE

Welcome everyone! Over the next eight weeks, we'll be learning and playing with cool tools on the Internet. Step One: sign up and talk to each other!

Once you've signed up for a Ning account, leave everybody a note in this forum. Then explore other folks' profiles and pages, find old friends, and make a couple new ones to boot.

If you've got questions about how to work Ning or about online social networks in general, hop on over to the Good Ning-ing forum.

Special shout-out to the fine folks at volstate.edu and williamson-tn.org who are en masse inviting their colleagues to join this project!

Hello, I'm ready to start learning and playing.
Welcome, Penny - and happy Monday morning to you!
Hi penny. Welcome. I'm Tom and just starting this thing. I work at Sherrod Library at Johnson City.
Hi Penny and Tom! Is that a bike in the library? Gasp!
Hello Penny, enjoy the learning process & best of luck in the cyber world.
Good morning, everyone!

I've enjoyed perusing your pages as you've joined. Did anyone else fret over the avatar? I actually cut my hair last week and revamped my avatar to reflect that change. Of course, the avatar looks nothing like me, but do they ever, really?

Regards, and happy hunting!
Mona,

I have discovered it is much more useful to have someone else create your avatar - we recruited one person at TSLA to create all of our Avatars and they look suprisingly like us!
What an excellent idea!
I wish someone would take up the task of creating avatars for us - our state photos would do justice to Brushy Mountain!
Bwah-ha-ha! My state photo is particularly frightful - I'm kinda proud of it :)
I HAD A LOT OF FUN DOING MY AVATAR. BELIEVE ME SHE HAD SO MUCH ATTITUDE I HAD TO TONE HER DOWN. SHE REALLY KIND OF LOOK LIKE ME. GIRL GOT CLASS
Our state photos are online somewhere?! I figured it would be better for me to use a real photo for awhile until people have learned who I am. It worked at our TEL Training on Tuesday, didn't it?
